Services
Kentucky River Foothills Development Council, Inc. believes that communities must work together - in partnership - to enable all persons to live with dignity, responsibility and opportunity. To support this vision, KRFDC offers a myriad of services that promote stability and independence throughout the life cycle. These services begin with Head Start, continue through skills training programs and culminate with adult day services for the frail and elderly. In between, staff provide family preservation counseling, operate senior citizens centers, promote volunteer service, provide nutrition education, build houses for first time homeowners and help families in financial crisis. KRFDC has initiated many programs that have been proven effective in changing the lives of disadvantaged households. The following services assist people in owning a stake in their communities.
