Compassion Capital Fund

CCFFoothills' Compassion Capital Fund (CCF) Demonstration Grant is working to expand and strengthen the role of 20 organizations in their ability to provide social services to low-income communities. This program is allowing Foothills to assist 10 organizations in their four county service region. With Foothills operating partner, Gateway Community Services Organization, the project serves an additional 10 organizations in Bath, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan and Rowan counties.

These seed grants were all awarded to non-profit faith or community-based organizations that provide critical human services to the community. Smaller organizations with an operating budget of under $500,000 were prioritized in the selection procedure.

Organizations are being assisted with strengthening their capacity to serve low-income, homeless, elderly and at-risk youth with essential supportive services through a series of high quality training workshops.
