Foothill’s Jobs Access Program is a newly funded ARRA (stimulus) program that helps individuals find employment.  Services provided include GED preparation, on the-job training, employment training skills (resume writing, computer skills, life skills, business skills), and case management & supportive services. 

Eligibility includes: (1) clients must reside in Clark, Estill, Madison, and Powell Counties, (2) income must be at 200% of poverty or below, and (3) anyone over the age of 18 needing employment assistance (example: recently laid off work, underemployed, wanting to get back in the workforce).

Services Provided:

Employment preparation skills that will help:

­       Learn the correct way to complete an application
­       Develop an effective resume
­       Learn how to dress and prepare for an interview
­       Learn basic computer and internet skills
­       Develop proper business etiquette
­       Learn where and how to look for a job

GED Preparation and Basic Skills Improvement

Prepare for the ACT® WorkKeys® Assessments:
­       Earn a Kentucky Employability Certificate (KEC) 

On-the-Job and Short-Term Training Opportunities
Income Management and Financial Education
Case Management, Support Services & Follow-up
