Current Job Opportunities

Classroom Facilitator
Kentucky River Foothills Development Council, Inc.’s New Pathways for Fathers and Families Program is accepting applications for a FT Classroom Facilitator to instruct and facilitate relationship, financial/budgeting, parenting, and job-readiness courses throughout central and eastern Kentucky. Location for courses will include churches, social service clubs, employer jobsites, and correctional facilities. Must be comfortable providing instruction to incarcerated individuals at correctional facilities on an individual basis. College degree in education or human services preferred. Prior experience in social services or case management preferred. History of providing services to incarcerated individuals desired. Must have a valid Kentucky driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability and willingness to travel the service area. Home Care Case Manager
Full-Time (M-F; 8:00 – 4:30; 37.5 hours per week)
$18.00 per hour (Non-Exempt)
Service Area will include the following counties: Clark, Estill, Garrard, Lincoln, Madison, and Powell.
Summary of Responsibilities and Qualifications: Home Care Case Manager will be responsible for in-home assessment and case management of Home Care Program clients. Prior administrative and case management experience preferred. Two years prior experience working with the elderly required. BA in Social Work, LPN, or RN Degree required. No substitution for experience allowed. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability and willingness to travel the service areas as needed. Agency drug and alcohol policy and criminal background check applies to this position. EOE. Early Head Start Teacher
Kentucky River Foothills’ Head Start has an opening for a full-time Early Head Start Teacher in Madison County. Infant/Toddler CDA required. IECE or other degree related to early childhood education preferred. Agency policies regarding background checks and drug screen apply to this position. Medical Office Administrator
Kentucky River Foothills Development Council, Inc. is accepting applications for a Medical Office Administrator to work 37.5 hours per week for the Healthcare for the Homeless (HCH) Project in Powell County. $18.00-$20.00 per hour, contingent upon education and experience. The Medical Office Administrator performs a variety of tasks specific to the Healthcare for the Homeless Project, including but not limited to, developing policies and procedures and ensuring compliance, supervising front office staff and the billing department, and providing administrative support for the HCH Project Director and the Director of Health and Human Services. Associate’s Degree, certification program or college courses in a related field required, Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred. Three to five years in a primary care setting highly desired. Must have and maintain a valid Kentucky Driver’s license and must have the ability and willingness to travel the service area as needed. Must be able to lift forty (40) pounds. Agency policy regarding drug and alcohol testing and criminal background checks applies to this position. Safe Off the Streets (SOS) Monitors
Liberty Place Recovery Center for Women has immediate openings for Safe Off the Streets (SOS) Monitors (PRN) to conduct initial screening and supervision of clients including facility safety checks. Position is “as needed” and may include weekend hours. School Diploma or GED required. If in recovery, two years of continuous sobriety and working an active recovery program is required. Persons completing a recovery center program may be considered for employment with less than two years of sobriety.
