Giving to Foothills

Gifts and contributions allow Kentucky River Foothills Development Council, Inc. to provide an array of programs tailored to the needs of low-income individuals, families, children and senior citizens.  The majority of those served are unable to pay for the services they receive.  Gifts from supporters in Foothills' four county service area helps the agency continue to offer nearly thirty programs and to develop new ones to meet the changing needs of our communities.

To make a cash gift:

Donations can be sent to Kentucky River Foothills Development Council, Inc., 309 Spangler Drive, Richmond, Kentucky 40475.  Please include the donor's name and address.  If giving a gift in honor or memory of someone, please include their name as well as the name and address of the person you would like to have notified of your gift.  Please feel confident that the amount of your gift will not be disclosed, only that you gave in honor or memory of a specified person.

To give stocks, real estate and planned gifts:

Stocks, mutual funds, real estate, and gifts provided through wills and trusts can be tax wise and are equally as beneficial to nonprofits as cash contributions.  As everyone's tax situation differs, please consult your accountant, advisor or tax attorney to explore how this type of gift can best be structured.

To give donations other than monetary:

Many of our programs rely on donated household items, furniture, clothing and nonperishable food items to meet the needs of low-income participants.  All items are distributed free of cost to the needy.  Specifically, such contributions are needed by:  Family Preservation; Clark County Outreach Office; Estill County Outreach Office; Powell County Outreach Office; Madison County Outreach Office; and Supportive Housing Program.
