Kentucky River Foothills Head Start, Grandparents As Parents, provides monthly support groups for grandparents raising grandchildren. 

Any person raising a relative is invited to join one of our groups. 

There are no income qualifications, and the grandchild does not have to be in the Head Start Program.  If you are unable to attend meetings, we still encourage you to contact us to receive information and learn about resources that may help you.

Services are provided in Clark, Jackson, Madison and Powell counties.

We provide:  

·         Monthly support group meetings in each county
·         Information on available resources
·         Practical answers and discussion on common parenting questions
·         Education and discussion on topics relevant to relative caregivers
·         Speakers
·         A chance to talk with others in similar situations
·         Computer training
·         Referrals pertaining to legal issues
·         Money saving tips
