Foothills and the Brenda D. Cowan Coalition have partnered together to provide an Economic Stability Project that serves domestic violence victims who either live, or are wiling to live, Madison County. Victim advocacy services include outreach, education, counseling, therapy, legal advocacy, and other support services are provided. Stabilization and self-sufficiency services including housing referrals, transportation, job training and other support services are also available. None of these services will compromise victim safety. This program works with participants for up to three years while they work to regain their independence and self-esteem. * Provides safety planning, court advocacy, attorney-client privileges available, supervised visitation, domestic violence classes, child care assistance, case management, transportation, medical assistance, budget/credit classes, food assistance, heating/cooling assistance, utility assistance, educational assistance, GED preparation and referrals. Serves Madison County.
Special Needs Housing Coordinator Brenda D. Cowan Coalition Safe Connections Foothills currently has three full-time Case Managers and one part-time Case Manager. Each Case Manager is assigned clients based on geographic location to their home and current caseload and typically has 15-20 clients at a time. In addition to their current caseload, Case Managers have ongoing contact with persons seeking housing and other forms of assistance.
