Foothills, Brenda D. Cowan Coalition, Hope’s Wings, and Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program have partnered together to provide Economic Stability Projects that serve domestic violence victims who either live, or are willing to live in Madison County.

Our above named partners provide crisis stabilization services, safety planning, court advocacy, attorney-client privileges available, domestic violence classes, counseling, and mental health services/referrals. Foothills provides case management, transportation, childcare assistance referrals, budget/credit classes, housing assistance, food assistance, heating/cooling assistance, utility assistance, educational assistance, GED preparation, job readiness, job retention, parent education, self esteem building, and referrals.

None of these services will compromise victim safety. This program works with participants for up to three years while they work to regain their independence and self-esteem.

Foothills currently has two full-time Case Managers that are supervised by the Director of Social Services. Each Case Manager is assigned clients based on geographic location to their home and current caseload and typically has 15-20 clients at a time. In addition to their current caseload, Case Managers have ongoing contact with persons seeking housing and other forms of assistance.
