Adult Day Care

Adult Day Care provides respite to primary caregivers of persons who are physically, mentally, or socially limited and require personalized care and attention. Each day at the center is filled with activities to promote socialization, therapy, recreation, and relaxation.

Activities may include: daily group games and therapy, arts, crafts, music, field trips and outings, and speakers and special guests.  Participants also enjoy breakfast, hot lunches and snacks. Participants may come as often as they wish, or according to the needs of the participant or their caregiver.  Payment is based on a sliding fee scale, and may be paid by Medicaid.  Transportation is available through Foothills Express.

Staff are well trained and their priority is the well-being of the participant.  A nurse monitors medical needs and oversees medications.  These center enables participants to avoid, or at least delay, the need for institutionalized care at a nursing home.
